Eragon has just departed Tarnag the dwarf city where one of the Az Sweldn rak Anhûin(a dwarf clan) dwarf's threw an iron ring with three beard hairs from that dwarf at Eragon as the sign of declaring themselves blood enemies, for joining the Ingeitum. He is now heading for Ellesméra the Elf city but to continue Eragon, Arya(an Elf), Orik(a dwarf) and sevral other dwarf's must travel by river through the Beor Mountains to reach Ellesméra. While on the journey Eragon flies with Saphira when they are attacked by the Fanghur which resemble dragons but aren't, and finally after being on the rafts(which have a cabin in the middle) for around 3 days they come upon one of the smaller Elf villages, and that is how far I've read so far.

what has happened

what has happened so far:

• Eragon is the main character, although the story kind of jumps from place to place and person to person. It's a little tough to follow because of this.
  
• Ajihad who was the leader of the Varden died
  
• Nasusda(daughter of Ajihad) becomes of the leader of Varden, an army of people. They are rebels and rebel against the leader of the Empire Galbatorix.
• His dragon Saphira drinks four barrels of mead, gets drunk and then well passes out.
  
• The creatures (Ra'zac) are trying to capture Eragon's cousin Roran. They are trying to capture him because they want more information about Eragon.
  
• Eragon was invited to a clan called Ingeitum. This is a dwarf clan.
• Eragon has traveled through the underground dwarf tunnel's to Tarnag.
